@jaxtherogue : No, you're the one who's wrong. If you want to teach you MUST learn to use proper terms: speed of the exposure is a thing, shutter speed is another thing. I'm a teacher, I take money from courses and I don't want to puzzle people.Second: all the best photographers agree that the external meter is useless (I used 2 times in my life because the model wasn't available), if you position it wrong the metering is false (inverse square law) while the camera can't miss!
